ITINERARY:
Firstly this guided excursion will take you to one of the most emblematic villages of Gran Canaria, Teror. Here you will stroll the beautiful streets full of typical Canarian architecture. Therefore it is considered to have one of the best-preserved historical centres on the island.
Afterwards, the tour continues to the outstanding historical city of Arucas. The local church of St. John the Baptist is so impressive that most of the visitors consider it to be a cathedral. Furthermore, the fine work of local artistic stoneworkers is visible on many houses around. Undoubtedly this town proudly deserves to be on the list of protected historical centres of the island.
Followingly you will continue to the village of Firgas. Here you will surely want to take a picture of yourself in front of the lovely water cascades and Sevillan mosaics. And before leaving don´t forget to check the views from the “Balcony of the Atlantic”.
Afterwards, you will set a for a little adventure to Tilos de Moya. In this natural reserve, you will make a half-hour hike. Walking between the laurels you will breathe the fresh air. The birds will sing around. Certainly, you will contemplate many local endemic plants. Alternatively, there is a sitting area for those who cannot walk that much. Additionally, you could treat yourself in a nearby restaurant (if open).
Later on, you will visit the peaceful and fertile Valley of Agaete. In a family-run coffee plantation, you will learn about local coffee production. Then you will enjoy your afternoon cup of java.
