You will finish in Artenara – one of the highest located villages in Gran Canaria. It was inhabited already in the prehispanic times as the area was suitable for the production of cereals and stock raising. This feature survived until nowadays, the same as the unique form of local habitats – cave houses. The thermic qualities of the caves keep the same temperature all year round.
